CHDs are the most common birth defect.
1 in 100 babies are born with a heart defect.
There is not a cure for CHD.
CHD is a lifelong condition.
The causes of most CHDs are unknown.

We are a family of four but our oldest child, Wayne, is our heart warrior. Wayne does not only have heart issues. He has other issues including gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and more. He was born with his condition for his heart as well with being born missing part of his esophagus as that has been repaired. He travels from Danville to Philly, Allentown, and even Boston Childrens Hospital for all the health issues he deals with.
Our oldest son was born with truncus arteriosis.
Our two heart babies ❤️ VSD w/ Obstruction & ToF. Our baby boy is a lil soldier of God. He caught a bad Sternum infection after surgery and we were in the hospital for 50+ days.
My son in the photo frame is one of our 3 heart warriors! Ezekiel passed away from a very complex heart, Elijah on the Berlin Heart waiting for a heart transplant and the little dude with a backwards hat is also our heart warrior! All 3 of our boys are heart warriors.
